The museum of Bank Al-Maghrib was inaugurated in June 2002, it is owned by the central bank of the Kingdom of Morocco. Since 1947, the bank started a large collection of more than 30 000 coins, money and tokens.

There is also an art gallery inside the museum. It houses a collection of paintings about Morocco and Moroccan culture.

Bank Al Maghrib is Morocco's National bank, the museum holds an impressive collection of antique coins, some are dating back to 500 B.C!
