What's on the Morocco Road Map
The map shows Morocco's toll motorway network - among the best in Africa - linking Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Fes, Oujda, Marrakesh and Agadir, plus the main national roads and the mountain passes such as the Tizi n'Tichka between Marrakesh and Ouarzazate.
Motorways (autoroutes) are fast, quiet and tolled section by section; national roads (N) are slower but often far more scenic - the classic south loop runs almost entirely on them.
Tips for Using the Map
Download the PDF for the stretches without signal in the mountains and the south. Keep cash for toll booths (cards are accepted on the main barriers), fuel up before long desert legs, and respect speed limits - checkpoints are frequent and polite.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Morocco road map free to download?
Yes. The Morocco road map is a free PDF - download it to your phone for offline use or print it before your trip. No sign-up is needed.
Which side of the road does Morocco drive on?
The right, like continental Europe and the US. Roundabouts generally give priority to traffic already on them, but stay defensive - priority is not always respected in cities.
Are Moroccan motorways tolled?
Yes, section by section: you take a ticket at the entry barrier and pay on exit. Each section costs from a few dirhams to around 20-30 MAD; keep some cash even though main barriers accept cards.
